This is great for cables with the right length and diameter. They're super easy, quick and keep your cables super tidy - a great time saver at the end of a gig. I have about a dozen cables with me and none of them have failed. They won't wear off or stick to the linings of bags, covers, car seats, clothing, etc. like Velcro does, and won't get covered with dog hair or anything else that gets stuck to Velcro. My first experience with them. was with the Planet Waves Custom Series guitar cables and Circuit Breaker that includes these cables. Oddly enough, the American Stage Series cables don't. The cable diameter is a bit smaller with them, which may be the reason. Anyway, I installed one of these and it works great. But that begs a question - they won't fit every cable you have. For example, Monoprice microphone cables are too thick. Most of my IEC power cords are also too thick. But most of my mic and instrument cables fit neatly into a small plastic handle. The plastic handle is actually only suitable for round cables; I have several stereo and DC cables that don't fit. Another note: they work best with cords that are around 8-10 feet long, as the elastic loop of the bungee needs to stretch too much. . Other cables are probably best used with velcro straps for attachment or bongo ties.
