When you need to work on small things and think Dremel is the solution. Forget it. It's MUCH better in every way. I have had various models of Dremels or similar products over the years but this unit is absolutely the best and of excellent quality. The best feature is the ability to slowly rotate the tools used. This slow rotation makes your work much more precise, and the Foredom gives you very good control over actual speed with the pedal. I still have a Dremel that I use outside for odd jobs, but I'm trying to move whatever I'm working on inside so I can use Foredom.
