So it's time to write a small review about my first fix. So, initially I chose between 50 mm 1.8 and 1.4 for a long time. After a few test shots, I bought 1.8. I didn't like the picture quality. Greases. Inaccurate focus. The lens, apparently, also required adjustment. It was decided to exchange the lens for 1.4. Although, I had to pay extra for this pleasure (in exchange for a more expensive model) several thousand. (But it was not in vain. The quality of the picture and the 1.4 lens itself is much superior to 1.8. Heavier. Better quality. Less blurring. I regretted that I didnβt buy it right away. For accurate work, the D3100 and 1.4 require adjustment. Sometimes it blurs the focus to a value of 2.8. But, it's better to leave it like that than to give it to a service. I don't like interference with new equipment. I rarely shoot at this aperture. But I need a margin, of course. For portraits in full height and above the knee - very good. I recommend. I put 4 out of 5 points, only because it was not possible to work with more expensive copies. Good luck with your purchase!Choose models without front / back focus.
