I am a candidate for a double knee prosthesis. I've had almost no meniscus cartilage for 7-8 years. Added to this are the bone spurs that result from this condition. I wasn't expecting the knee pads (yes I ordered 2) to allow me to jog or run but was hoping they would provide some support and relief and with the strap they seem to have done just that to have. ! I really feel the extra support and I find it easier to stand up after sitting at my desk for a few hours. I don't really understand the reviews that mention some complaints about non-slip silicone. It doesn't bother me at all and helps keep them in place. I've just washed mine and will put them on in a moment. I followed your size recommendation and what I ordered fits me perfectly. I won't say I got rid of the pain, most likely knee replacements will help, but they REALLY help me! Much better than anything I've used at local pharmacies.
