Tested well when I put them in a wired plug. But when wiring in the field with a 14 or 12ga Romex, the wiring is often too tight and the springs on the canopy too weak. It is difficult to install flush with the ceiling due to the weight/storage of the wiring in the home. Worse, the tiny screw that secures the junction box cover is loose, requiring a very small screwdriver. Not sure which engineer thought it was a good idea to install the ceiling lights at the top of the stairs and try not to drop or lose that screw when opening or closing the box lol. I have decided to buy other LED lights that have separate junction boxes instead. Unfortunately this 4" light doesn't fit most other 4" LED lights so I had to order and cut 5" LED lights instead. They worked much better.
