is my second set of 7989s. Shortly after I bought my truck I found out about the spark plug problem, I removed (a few broken) the original 30,000 mile spark plugs and installed a 7989 kit with TSB anti-seize compound. This week I replaced that kit with a new 7989 94k mile kit. Although the spark plugs are rated for 100,000 miles, I felt it wise to avoid problems. 7989 did its job; None broke during removal. This does not mean that they came out easily. They made a similar sound to the original spark plugs and it still took me a lot of patience (1/4 turn forward. 1/8 turn back). The 7989s I removed showed no significant wear on the electrode, about half had significant deposits on the ground electrode shield. I also replaced the coils with MSD Street Fires. I noticed that the engine runs a little smoother when idling.
