Review on 🍽️ Enhance Your Culinary Experience with the KitchenAid Spiralizer Plus Attachment – Peel, Core, and Slice Effortlessly in Silver! by Austin Cejudo

Great kitchen accessory -

This high quality stainless steel attachment works perfectly with the Kitchenaid Pro-5 Stand Mixer. I must emphasize that vegetables should be at least medium in diameter and firm in texture. I always refrigerate them for about 30 minutes so they stay firm for immediate use. The spiral strips are a little long, depending on the length of the vegetables used. I compensate by turning off the blender when I see the desired length, snip the strips with kitchen scissors, resume processing, and repeat the action. If uniform short strips are desired, cut the vegetables to the length required for processing and make a 'lengthways' cut down the center of the area. Then assemble the vegetables for continuous processing. I had to experiment with spiral blades to get the desired thickness of the spiral and I found that the medium blade worked best for us. Raw pasta is great in a salad, but to get a softer texture I always sauté the strands in a little olive oil for 2-3 minutes. You can also add the noodles to the simmering sauce at the same time instead of searing them. This plus lace set comes in a sturdy storage box with pre-formed lace cutouts and easy-to-follow instructions. Each blade is marked with a pictogram on the side to identify it for use and storage. So far we have only used the spiralization mode of this nozzle. I look forward to trying the rest of the blades in the pack. Just be careful with manual cleaning and handling as the blades are razor sharp. To make cleaning in the top rack of our dishwasher easier, we place dirty blades in a small perforated plastic container. Make sure they are completely dry before storing to avoid possible rusting.
