Works. I just installed a second AGM battery and a smart isolator. This will not refill my AGM battery as I have a smart oscillator that will go from 12.8v to a high 13v depending on the state of charge of my starter battery. The REDARC BCDC charger solves this problem and charges my secondary AGM battery up to 14.6V (full charge) regardless of what my standard charging system is doing. I installed it under the hood above the fuse box. It gets hot in there when the engine overheats so we'll see how it fares on a 2,000 mile ride this week. I bought it primarily to run an 80 liter compressor fridge freezer. Later I want to add an inverter to my system.
