It either works or it doesn't and it works. My 2004 Subaru Forester, which I recently bought used, was 117 degrees outside in the dead of winter. I bought this, installed it and it is within 1 degree of any other thermometer. It's annoying but easy to spot simply because of its position (imagine it lying on its back in the driveway). And you won't find any videos on YouTube because it's impossible to place the camera there while installing it. But read the helpful tips on [.] and you should be able to. The old one is much harder to pull out. Installing this new part takes no more than 10 minutes. I am very satisfied with the result.
