It works great and better than I expected. I had one with those rubber threads for garbage collection (looks like a commercial entrance mat) and it worked fine but it only broke when I moved it and I was never able to get all the garbage out. It catches dirt very well and it's easy to shake the litter back into the box. And easy to clean with soap and water. When cleaning, water gets stuck in the recesses. But it is wiped with a towel or air dried a little longer. I would recommend the big one. I have an environment in front of another litter box and cats sometimes jump right past or around it. The big one is too big to avoid. In the photos I made a litter box and put a large rug on the floor and a box with high sides on top. On the one photo a clean carpet, on the other after a week of collecting rubbish. With this installation almost no garbage comes out. Although I try to use a medium sized rug outside to catch any stray trash that comes out.
