Easy to install but may not hold

I liked that cabinet locks are easy to install and don't require screws, but I'm concerned if they can withstand a toddler who pulls on them all the time. Also, I originally liked the idea that I could toggle the locking mechanism on and off, but now I worry that either I or my spouse will forget to toggle it back when I defeat the objective. The switch also makes a weak impression. I think metal will make it safer. There are only 2 keys for 12 locks which is fine if you only use it in 2 rooms but my locks are spread over 4 rooms so I wish I had more keys. Corner blockers are too bulky to be effective for my needs. (coffee table corners) they stick out over the top of the corner and the next day my hand brushed them and they fell off immediately. They are only effective at right angles with right angles and are about 1 inch thick (if they are smaller they will chip).
