This OBD-II reader is different from the cheap ones that you have to activate with an app on your phone (which I have too). This is an offline reader that is very easy to use and will guide you every step of the way. It identifies your car instantly and you don't have to enter your car's year, make, engine, etc. This device is also good value compared to others on the market and I highly recommend it.
