I was concerned they would be too thick as the name suggests they are thick but they are more than average weight and I like them. The socks are very comfortable to wear no matter what you are doing and they stay in place. They also have a bit of compression and arch support, which I find very comfortable even when barefoot. The size is perfect, meaning it's not too big and stretches well, and feet don't sweat. I've worn and washed them several times and haven't noticed any wear or snags and they hold their shape very well. I originally ordered them for my husband, but one day I put on a pair and decided they were mine. I might be kind enough to share them with him one day, but today isn't the day.
