Very soft and comfortable. You can wear it with a high waist or roll up the belt for a low-rise feel. I love deep pockets because they are comfortable to carry keys or a phone in and things don't fall out. The material is soft and hasn't shrunk even after several washes. I usually run a small size but I was concerned that the size might be smaller than usual so I bought 2 pairs, one small and one medium and they both fit comfortably. The small ones were always tighter but still had plenty of leg room and the medium ones were also comfortable but had a little more leg room. Great for pajamas. But I would say they are true to size.
