Poorly designed mesh screen.
Used for a coffee press but the strainer has four grooves along the edge that will fit full size coffee grounds. Some sludge from the coffee press is to be expected, but don't allow coffee grounds to fall into the cup. Looks good as a decoration though and I'm sure it could work for loose leaf tea.
