When I was young I married a beauty from Louisiana. Not only did she cook so well that I doubled my size every year, but she also brought certain foods into my life. Coffee continued to be a staple, but not a community. But like a roaming man who eventually returns home, community has crept in again. Not because it's cheap (it's not), but because it's good and reliable, like a good single malt.
