I've had to replace this part on our washing machine quite a few times because our whirlpool system has gotten a little out of balance over the past few years and we're also pretty rough on the laundry machine. Most of the other replacement bushings on the market that we tried didn't hold up well and were made of very soft plastic. Even a real whirlpool doesn't last long in our washing machine at the moment. However, the Blue Star part has held up well so far. You could see it in the picture and in person it is much better quality plastic than any other replacement parts we have tried. I suspect it's more complex than even the original hot tub part. This means it's a bit more rigid and might require some oil and a hammer to get it in place, but it's basically the same method I use to install the original part. I will buy another of these hubs when it wears out. Great value for the quality you get.
