This product will ***significantly increase traction on ***firm snow*** and ***ice*** when used as directed. It will ***not*** turn your car into a "Super Blizzard Machine". If you try to drive a few inches of thick (fine) snow, you're likely to get stuck. If you're trying to spin your tires, the AutoSocks will help, but they'll also likely fly off your tires due to centrifugal force. When you're driving at 100 km/h on a snowy highway and you have to brake hard, you're **out of control**. The product is designed for 30 km/h. You can go faster, but be aware that if you're having trouble, it's strongly recommended to go slower. The product is also **fabric**. Yes, they're very durable, but you **don't** drag them on your tires all winter. They just won't last. They can last several weeks or even a month if your rides are short, at 30 mph or less, and you ride on firm snow and ice 100% of the time. But if you have a winter storm or snow storm then the roads will be salt free in a matter of days, riding on wet, salty asphalt in AutoSocks will quickly blow them away. If you don't take them off, they're likely to rip off your tires at some point, and you better hope they aren't stuck on your axle. Get ready to answer many questions from passers-by asking what the heck you have on your bike. Tires. :) As long as you understand the limitations of the product, you will benefit. **Solve** no extra precautions or precautions when driving on snow and/or ice because "that's cool, I wear AutoSocks!" Drive like they aren't on, even though they are.
