All Day Curling for Styling Tools & Appliances

I have two sets of these curlers. I bought a second set so I can have more long videos. If you have long hair, you probably need two sets. Two sets of reels are expensive, but these are no ordinary reels. They are made of polyester foam (like quilting) cut into fabric-covered strips with plastic snaps on the ends. You wrap your hair around and then pin the ends together. This turns the roll into a loop. You tie the loops together to form a chain. Joking aside, this is the main process. They are best left overnight and are the only videos I get to sleep through the night on. However, it is important to connect the ends on the outside and not on the scalp. The plastic clips dig into the scalp when they are put together. My hair is fine. The curl takes, but does not want to hold. When I take off my curlers in the morning, I don't comb them. I only use my fingers to style my curls. The instructions state that a styling product should be applied to each strand. You don't have to. Often I would wash my shampoo in the morning, put some product on my hair and let it air dry, and curl it at night. Sometimes I wet my hair a little; sometimes I let it dry. The curls get a little looser when I don't put lotion on them. In the morning after I put my fingers on, I usually just leave it on. I use hairspray when it's a windy or very humid day. I can't tell you how excited I am to be able to have curls all day long - without a perm! Hair rollers can and should be machine washed. I let them air dry. Washing removes the soaked product and "puffs up" the curler. I call her a star because there's no way the average (or outstanding) woman can get the hairstyles shown on the box. The photo shows a natural curl. Otherwise, an excellent method of curling hair without heating.
