Some people have complained that they are not heat resistant. Of course not. They are not advertised as such. These are decorative vinyl napkins. I bought it in blue and am very happy with it. I love that there are multiple shades of blue and depending on the lighting they appear different from different angles. I gave it 4 stars for cleaning because you really need to remove the stain pretty quickly. Yes, they are porous. Meant to be. But usually only liquid can fall through. I have a hard plastic on the tablecloth so don't worry. Otherwise I would just wash the tablecloth. I also gave 4 stars for durability but that's only because I haven't had them for a long time and if I can't get a few stains off I might need to toss them. It hasn't happened yet and I don't think it will for a long time. So far only satisfied with my purchase.
