At first glance this lid looks quite nice. I live in Columbia, South Carolina. I park my golf cart outside year-round on the southeast side of my house where there is shade about a third of the day. The fabric quickly fades in the sun. My first device lasted from February 2018 to August 2018. They replaced the unit under warranty and the replacement failed by the end of summer 2019. The fabric on the top is so thin after fading compared to the parts that weren't exposed to direct sunlight. and faded to almost white. See photo of storage bag versus outside. These parts were the same color when the unit was new. Both times it ripped trying to wear it after the fading made the fabric brittle. There are vents on the back, but I found I had to belt the whole thing to keep the cover from being blown away during a big storm. I would only recommend this for casual hiding. So stow it in the included pouch to pull it out in case of unexpected rain.
