Too bad, look elsewhere!
I bought two of these units which I thought were fairly durable and installed them in my crawl space. After about 10 days (with a run of about 2-3 hours in 24 hours) the hose broke. This was happening about 6 inches from the pump (in the pool) so I didn't know about it at first. The water filled the pool, was pumped into the pool (by the splitter), etc. etc. The plastic tube is as thin as tissue paper (and just as useful). Luckily I checked it out today! I've also noticed that oil is leaking from the seal at the bottom of the pump. So I guess it's only a matter of days before he dies. I bought two ZOELLER pumps to replace. Stay away from cheap pumps and use hard plastic tubes!
