Analog used: CANON EF 100mm f2.8L Macro IS USM. An excellent macro lens in every respect. With curiosity I bought it for Canon 500D. The lens definitely pleased. By and large, if you don't quibble, it's a worthy companion of the EF 100mm f2.8L Macro IS USM. But, I would not recommend comparing them, since these glasses are from different worlds, L-ka on FF, and this one, only on crop (real focal length 96 mm). I didn’t have the usual Kenon macro weaving, so I can’t compare it with it. But, I can confidently say that if you don’t switch to full frame, you don’t need to wish for a better option for macro, especially based on the price. Namely, in terms of price-quality ratio, this glass is unrivaled. However, if you are by nature an uncompromising person, it is better to immediately take the L-ku with an eye on the full frame, since it is in this lens that Canon embodied all its achievements in the field of macro lenses. Moreover, L-ka has an indescribable magic of fixing the surrounding World. But, once again, I emphasize, the difference here is so unsteady, and is it worth the double price!? Question!? And this question is yours to answer.
