Update: App tested this morning and light is now connected to wifi. The ringing sound is still there. Original: strong stripes, but with many flaws. Worst of all, certain colors produce significant ringing noise. Second, some of the adhesive on one of the two strips wasn't peeling off properly, requiring additional tape. doesn't change the rules of the game. After an hour of trying to connect the light to Wi-Fi, I only gave in to the ringing and threw in the towel. We have a Google Nest WiFi system with over 30 smart home devices connected; It wasn't my first rodeo. Our particular product just doesn't connect. So we're limited by the remote control and can't use the microphone function that ties the light to the rhythm of the music. We use them in a playroom over a recessed ceiling grid. If we could connect them to wifi and get rid of the ringing that would be 5 stars. Unfortunately, these are two important features.
