My parrot LOVES this bird bath! It was inconvenient to install as it tilted down. So I turned the parts that go against the bars vertical and pushed them under the bars from above so they counteract the downward tilt. From the moment I set it up my parrot was very curious and as soon as I filled it with water he jumped (his first time with a birdbath) and started going in and out, getting more and more comfortable. I filled it a little less than halfway with water. I think it was half a glass. Aside from the installation, I am very happy with this product. It appears to be made of heavy-duty, thick, durable plastic, and it's not that difficult to install once you get the hang of it. I definitely recommend you order this, your bird will love it.
