I was really impressed with the external sound from the Ailunce HD1, very loud and clear even at low volume. However, the shoulder mic speaker in the nomination was the opposite, the mic sounded really bad, I had to turn the radio volume to maximum and still could barely hear it, compared to another shoulder mic speaker with other brand radios, it was amazing how bad the sound quality was was Ailunce shoulder speaker. To figure out the problem I tested another model (RT82) the problem was the same but now the PTT was not working at all when I noticed some connectors/pins were not aligned well the solution was once in place and on screwed the microphone, it was necessary to screw it back a little, so there was a little play. So the sound got loud and clear and the microphone worked. There is definitely a problem, most likely when assembling the product. Retevis customer service got in touch and they are really willing to fix the problem and deliver a quality product, so I've changed my rating and feedback.
