Review on Manfrotto Compact Extreme Monopod Pole by Jeremy Meyer

Just to be clear this is a dual purpose camera monopod/extender (or selfie stick) which is why I bought it. Sometimes I need a monopod to stabilize my GoPro/iPhone/Compact Camera and other times I need a retractable handheld camera stand. Because it has standard 1/4-20 camera mounting screws on both ends, as well as GoPro mounts and ball joints, it's like a universal camera mount. And when folded, it only measures about 16 inches, so it fits nicely in a standard backpack. It's very light but very strong and well built (you wouldn't expect anything less from Manfrotto). It also has a wrist strap which I think is a bit small for my hands but still very comfortable. Extension connectors are strong, easy to open and close, and lock securely. The large textured rubber grip feels nice and is very comfortable. The body is made from very durable aluminum or alloy and it seems like it could easily withstand a lifetime of heavy use and abuse. In summary, I am very satisfied with this product and recommend it to everyone. Even if all you need is a selfie stick, this product is far superior to most cheap products, but costs a little more money. For those with larger needs, this is a high quality and durable monopod, camera stabilizer and range extender.
