Worked with the new motherboard.

My Supermicro desktop motherboard included a USB 3.1 Type 1 Type-C port. This extension cable allowed me to add an additional USB Type-C port on the back of my PC. It worked correctly when I put it in the hard drive dock. The expansion slot bracket didn't fit my case perfectly, but stayed secure enough to be used.
