Description of πŸ”Œ Cablecc USB 3.1 Front Panel Header to USB-C Type-C Female Extension Cable 40cm, Panel Mount Screw Included

USB 3.1 require a different front panel header than USB 3.0. The USB 3.1 port interface is using the USB 3.0 pin set and more. It is design to be backwards compatible (will explain later). There are no official release of the specs for the USB 3.1 header yet (as of this writing). But first motherboard with this is the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS IX FORMULA,STRIX Z270I/Z270G etc. Connector1: Type-C Female with Panel Connector2: USB 3.1 Front Panel Header

Perfect fit for my new ASUS USB-C motherboard

Perfect fit for my new ASUS USB-C motherboard, gives me a full USB3.1g2 port for 10G sharing with my phone and fast charging .

Pros
  • USB cable
Cons
  • Senior Citizen

I was specifically looking for an answer to a question that says the cable is Gen 2 10 supports Gbps speed, and the answer was yes. I am familiar with USB 3 Gen 2 10Gb/s devices and cables and use proven 10Gb/s devices and cables/wires, and this A-Key-to-Type-C-Mother-Key-to-Type Female cable I just purchased only supports Gen 1 5Gbps speeds. . If I remove ONLY this cable and use another one from the Gen 2 connector on the motherboard I get 990+ MB/s. The cable is back.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Fairly good

Worked with the new motherboard.

My Supermicro desktop motherboard included a Type-C to USB 3.1 Type 1 connector. This extension cable allowed me to add an additional USB Type-C connector to the back of my PC. It worked correctly when I put it in the hard drive dock. The expansion slot bracket didn't fit my case perfectly, but stayed secure enough to be used.

Pros
  • Computer Accessories and Peripherals
Cons
  • For the old

Works with USB 3 Type-C connector

The cable met my expectations. This allowed me to use the previously useless USB 3.0 Type-C port on my z390 Dark motherboard. I tried using a USB 3.0 Type-C to USB 3.0 adapter cable, but that didn't work. So I used this cable to connect it to my Type-C port and then I also bought a USB 3.0 Type-C to USB 3.0 hub which gives me 4 extra USB 3.0 connections existed. So I am very satisfied with this product. The cord is quite long although it was too short for what I wanted to do. It's okay, I found
