I have had constant problems with water leaking under the metal sliding door sill of my bathtub. I tried regular silicone sealant, then more sealant, then Sugra, but I couldn't seal it. I don't have much experience with sealer so maybe I didn't apply it properly (surfaces not quite dry I guess?) but in any case those attempts were an unfortunate failure. So I decided to try this stuff. and it worked! It only took one application which was pretty easy to do and healed quickly. Unlike some other reviewers, I found the material crisp. And it definitely worked! No leaks and it's been in place for a few weeks now. The tube says it will last for 11 linear feet with a normal side. I used almost all of the pipe on a 5ft sill and it didn't feel like overkill. So keep in mind that you may need two of these to cover the entire bathtub, for example.
