Review on Hakko 633 01 Iron Holder Cleaner by Jason Hayes

This soldering iron holder is well made and worth the money. Unfortunately, many people think that this is a good soldering iron stand for the FR-301. The iron does not fit well in the bakelite part of the holder. Honestly, I would consider it dangerous when used with the FR-301. Recommended holder for Hakko FR-301 is C1100. For some reason, American Hakko doesn't offer the C1100 on Revain. He also recommends 633-01 in Revain's frequently purchased box. Although people buy these for the FR-301, as a suggestion they should be removed as they fit poorly when inserted into the mount. In my opinion, this is an accident that can happen when using the FR-301. I will say that I think the 633-01 is a good product when used according to the manufacturer's instructions with the correct recommended hardware.
