Got this cable to connect to Oracle Database Appliance. The package arrived on time and in new condition. When I first tried to connect to my servers, I couldn't connect. At first I thought the cable might be bad, so I plugged it into the spare network switch I had. My switch had no problem connecting to my laptop. OK. Return to square one. After playing around with my laptop and server transfer speeds AND after downloading the new Proliant cable drivers, I was finally able to connect to my Oracle hardware. The drivers that come with the cables are VERY bad and you should not rely on them. Not every piece of hardware works with the supplied drivers.
