Review on 🚰 Aquaboon Universal Compatible Activated Carbon Cartridge by Erick Bowers

Installed in September 2020, the filter eliminated city water taste and odor issues. However, fine carbon particles accumulate in the hot water tank. I flushed the hot water tank 3 times and the hot water went from black to gray to light grey. This is especially noticeable when the bath is filled with hot water. Cold water does not produce colored water. The hot water tank was replaced about a month before the filter was installed. The inlet and outlet gauges show a pressure drop of approximately 1 PSI, which is within gauge error. At this point I am planning to wait until the filter needs to be replaced and they are trying another brand. The filter is not recommended.
