Easy to install as long as you don't hang the fan BEFORE installing the blades. I would pay a large ransom and drop the private part to watch someone hang the fan THEN try to install the blades as the instructions say. Good luck with it! Cons: Fan balance is TERRIBLE right out of the box! I tried every blade and was only able to balance them by using 1 weight on the edge of the blade on one blade and then the same on the next blade. Even then, at altitude, it wobbles a bit. This probably isn't a huge issue for most people, but I build high performance engines and finding the right balance is absolutely key to durability, so I'm a bit worried. Another issue is that the screws are made of some sort of sheet metal, so unforgiving. worn screwdriver. Make sure you are standing squarely on the screw and I would not use power tools to install. The screws aren't magnetic either, which tells you everything you need to know about them. Those were the only reasons I deducted a star. Otherwise a normal fan for the money.
