This replacement hard drive works great! It took about 45 minutes from start to finish to get my PS3 working again. My old drive started having this clicking/loading noise about a year ago and eventually stopped playing discs altogether. I did a little research, read a lot of reviews and decided to spend some money on this disc instead of buying a new PS3 and it saved me some money! I could replace myself. I found a very good video on YouTube for my PS3 model detailing the disassembly/assembly of the drive and circuit board. That was the only part that bothered me a bit. When I watched the video, the task actually looked pretty easy. And it was! My Blu-rays play and so do my games. So I'm a very happy PS3 owner again!
