I really wanted to buy this board after research. However, after two attempts to get the product in the stated condition, I am warning others to look elsewhere. The first board arrived with deep dents and a perforated shipping box. There was no protective packaging in the box, only a heavy block of wood fell into a thin corrugated box. It's easy to see why the board was damaged. The replacement product arrived in the same box, completely crushed under the weight of the board. Despite the lack of damage, the slab was of very poor quality, totally incompatible with the first, with numerous manufacturing defects: - there were permanent stains on the surface, almost like marks - waves on the surface from a planer - almost like streaks - the surface is uneven - the scraper is not lying flat Light breaks through the surface and through the cracks - the wood used is filled with knots and is not suitable for a cutting board, these loosen quickly and make the board unhygienic and unusable. - Errors in milled edges. The edge is unevenly machined and has roughness. Unfortunately this was a huge disappointment and I will be looking at other manufacturers like Boos Boards. I don't like writing negative reviews and wanted to speak directly to Teakhaus via the number on their label. , but it's just a voicemail box with an automatic message that answers after many rings. And no answer. Gave them two tries and tried to contact all to no avail. Save time and nerves and opt for a different product
