This handle works great with a standard rasp, but not a red shaft. When I first tried it with a red scent, it burst immediately. I thought I might have to move on to fix the problem. I put all 170 pounds on the rasp and squeezed it into the handle. As soon as I released the pressure, the rasp bounced in the air. Like a bazaar, I thought. Then I tried it on another rasp and it held up. I tried to pull it out but to no avail. I was hoping to remove the handle to see the difference between the two rasps, but now it doesn't get rid of this rasp. Does anyone have a suggestion for a red shank rasp handle?
