I always have one handy at every feeding. You are so absorbent. They get softer with every wash and constant washing does not affect the absorbency or the integrity of the material. I understand that $5 for fabric may seem like a lot, but we only use it on our child's face and body. We don't mind paying a little more for something that is used so often. They must be strong enough to withstand many washes without shrinking to the size of a washcloth. My husband and I do different burp styles and we need plus size burp clothing that fits our different styles. This is compliant.
