When I opened the package I was a little put off by the fact that it looked outdated/separated and I could find no expiration date, but after reviewing the ingredient list further, I could see that of the first 3 ingredients, 2 of them were wax based and not in a bad way. After doing my research, the only ingredient I wish were different is the first one that is derived from coconut. That type of oil can clog pores but I will have to wait and see. Also, the scent is pleasing to me, unlike the blue tansy oil I've purchased, which this product also has. I use the soothing serum to cleanse my face and also reapply more and let it "set in". It takes some time to set, but the results so far have been wonderful. My skin is soft and supple and I have found that the moisturizing effects counteract my Retin-a skin dryness beautifully. As long as I do not experience any breakouts; I will definitely be repurchasing.
