Constant static noise
Loud static noise is heard all the time. It was the first time we used it and it's still there. it's annoying. Don't skimp on listening to them. That's why they're cheap. That means they work, the range is good. Also note that there is a morse code beep button that kids aged 5 and under like to just hold down for a long time. Aggravating.
