I have platinum blonde hair and this shampoo is fantastic! This is NOT a purple tinted blonde shampoo if that's what you're looking for. Paul Mitchell has a purple toning shampoo called Platinum Blonde Shampoo. Light purple in color, Forever Blonde Shampoo takes a quarter size to create a great lather. I have very long thin hair (to my shoulder blades). It forms a lot of foam, but leaves no feeling of tension in the hair. The hair is clean after use and feels very soft. The smell is amazing and it doesn't smell like a lot of the old lady floral scents in other shampoos. My hair has definitely gotten lighter after using it and I combine it with Paul Mitchell's Forever Blonde Conditioner. I've been using this shampoo every other shampoo since I switched to a tinted purple shampoo to keep my platinum hair white. Forever Blonde Shampoo is perfect for blondes who want to cleanse, soften and brighten their hair!
