very smooth operation
This is an "upgrade" for me over using a traditional ball head. I like the fluid smoothness of the movements and it allows for much smoother changes in an unlimited range of settings.
Pros
- Flat Base Versatile - can be used on other flat surfaces with 3/8"-16 mounting threads such as sliders, darts and hemispherical adapters.
Cons
- Good, but not great
