We got this for our kids (girls 6 and 9) for Christmas and it was a HUGE hit. It wasn't what they asked for and didn't seem like much at first, but so far it's the most used toy. It was really easy to connect to their phones, the controls are easy to learn and use. I think it's just the right volume - loud enough to be fun, but not too loud to annoy non-karaoke people. My girls have already suggested it as a gift for a family friend as they think it will be a lot of fun. We got rose gold and it's really beautiful. The case is beautiful and durable, the battery lasts perfectly. It feels good in the hand - not too heavy, but definitely not cheap.
