Aids with soldering and soldering equipment

One of these is needed to fit heat shrink tubing over an extension that goes into a hedge trimmer. This works very well. Actually used to solder the heat shrink tubing for the inner wires and then the tube jackets on top. No problem melting the solder and wrapping all the repair work nice and tight.
