I gave these clips to a friend who has absolutely no experience or real understanding of LED strips. Although awkward, it had the clips in place and the lights turned on in minutes. When I showed him how to open the clip without damaging it, everything went smoothly. He kept saying "positive to positive and negative to negative" while running the LED strip around the back of my mirror. He just made it, so I tried.
