If you're one of those people who obsess over their temperature when smoking meat (or whatever), then this little device is for you. Install it and forget about it. Temperatures for pre-programmed meats appear to be near perfect and have a variety of flavor settings. One exception, however, is the chicken preset. It seems that this really isn't enough for the task. Every time I used a chicken preset it was left unfinished. In the future I will have to use custom chicken settings. Otherwise it would have gotten five stars.
