When I opened the box, the plastic case was torn on one side. I opened it, the radio is fine. I turned it on and it sounded good until it went past half volume, after which the mids and highs started to fade. It doesn't sound flat at 3/4 volume, the highs and mids coming and going between the basses. After 5 minutes of listening it started cracking and sounding like crap. I am disappointed to say the least! My jam party is way louder than this thing. I certainly thought I would have gotten a better product if I had spent that much money on altec. I get my money back!
