This speaker is, in my opinion, a mid-range speaker in the company's wide range of portable Bluetooth speakers. I wasn't sure if the sound would be as crisp as their slightly larger speakers, but this one proved me wrong! The sound on it is phenomenal. It's easy and convenient to carry when you work outdoors and the clay travels really long distances. I'm really impressed with this speaker and it's my choice for outdoor work. It is durable and will survive a fall unscathed. Great speaker.

Bought this as a gift but tried it first to make sure the recipient liked it. I charged it for a day, then connected my phone and turned on the music. Connects easily to my phone but the sound quality is worse than cheaper brands. I have an 808 Can which is about half the price of this bluetooth speaker and sounds way better. When I opened the box, the plastic case was torn on one side. I opened it, the radio is fine. I turned it on and it sounded good until it went past half volume, after which the mids and highs started to fade. I've been using this speaker extensively for about 9 months. The speaker wasn't that loud to begin with, but I got used to it. The biggest disappointment is that they sell up to 20 hours of playtime on a full charge, and I consistently get over 12 hours if I'm lucky. I'm a fedex driver who sometimes works a 12 hour shift and before my shift is over the speaker in me dies in about 10 hours and worse if you charge your phone with it. I can't even charge it anymore. I bought this speaker on purpose because it is listed with "Home Party Pairing" so I could pair it with my other Altec Lansing speakers with House Party capability can connect .
