At first I was hesitant to buy it but now that I've received it I'm very glad I have it. I'm using the M1 Macbook Pro and it just plugs in and works with a Type-C cable, you don't need an external power supply. If you are not using an HDMI cable, you may need to connect the USB connector to a power source (such as a camera monitor) depending on the application. The battery drains faster when connected to a computer, but if your computer is connected to a network, you shouldn't worry about it. I travel several times a year and bring part of my editing work with me. I work with DaVinci Resolve, Pro Tools and Logic Pro. This monitor makes my job easier as it is touchscreen and I can move the faders up and down as needed. It will be easier, more convenient and faster to work with this monitor.
