I live in the great northwestern state of Oregon and we often have freezing mornings and even snow from time to time. Having to park on the street and not having time to clear ice and/or snow from the windows in the morning, I was dying to find something to keep the windows clean. I previously bought another cover that worked fine but only covered the windshield. Now I use it for the rear window. I have a 2012 Honda CR-V and this is the first time I've put this new cover on for the last time. It was surprisingly easy. I installed the trim on the side mirrors and then noticed how the front/side mirrors are arranged. Small doors inside helped me understand that they went through the front doors. The straps were easy to use. In the morning I found frost everywhere and on cars along my street. I removed this cover from my car (it took longer than I gave myself but it was really good) and found the perfect windows. My old cover that was now on the back window wasn't sticking on one side and fell off. Of course, the small part that was covered was perfect, and the rest of the window was covered in ice. Anyway worth the money. I think the only problem is taking it off and then dealing with that wet finish. I didn't have time so I just threw it in the back of my CR-V. It would take me MUCH longer to clear the windows of ice and defrost everything to safely drive down my street (east, so straight into the sun, which sucks with icy windows!).
